Mr Sachchidananda Maiti

Mr Maiti is a senior Consultant Gynaecologist & Obstetrician who has decades of clinical experience in his field both in the UK and abroad. He specialises in managing a variety of gynaecological conditions like abnormal smear, bleeding, ovarian cysts, fibroid, pelvic pain, abnormal vaginal discharge, and investigating into early pregnancy complications using ultrasound scans including recurrent miscarriage.

He is also an Hon. Senior Lecturer at Manchester University Medical School and has been involved in teaching both undergraduate medical students and postgraduate trainees both in the UK and abroad for over a decade.

As a Principal Investigator (PI) of several national and international research projects Mr Maiti has a keen interest in the analysis and research of obstetric and gynaecological care. He can also help investigate into any difficulties of getting pregnant, problems during early pregnancy, and ensuring any concerns on screening tests or any gynaecological health condition. His basic principle in clinical practice is simple, empowering personal care. He can also assist you with contraception decisions and insertion or removal of a coil or implant.
