Mr Lim a Consultant Plastic Surgeon specialising in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
After qualifying in 1995 from Leeds University, Mr Lim pursued advanced training in Plastic Surgery, specialising in cosmetic surgery in 2013. He holds a BSc (Hons), MB ChB, AFRCS (Ed), MRCS (Eng), and FRCS (Plast) and is listed on the specialist register for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
In addition to his clinical work, Mr Lim is dedicated to medical education, serving as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Hull York Medical School and actively mentoring junior surgeons. He also contributes to regional training programmes for surgical trainees.
His professional development includes a nationally awarded Interface Fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery, as well as a Microsurgical Reconstruction Fellowship at Nottingham Breast Institute and Nottingham University Hospital. As a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon within the NHS in York, he plays a vital role in breast and abdominal wall reconstruction and is a core member of the skin cancer multidisciplinary team.
