What is Meningitis C & Haemophilus B ?

This combined injection protects children from the risk of Hib (Haemophilus B) and meningitis C, two key causes of meningitis and septicaemia in children. The immunisation is administered in three doses, at least one month apart.

A booster dose is offered at 12 months as part of the combined Hib / Meningitis C booster, to provide a longer-term protection.
