Patient Advisor Consultation
If you have the required referral letters and approvals, you can schedule a virtual consultation with our patient advisor. They will guide you through the Pall Mall experience, ensuring you are informed and comfortable with your decision to proceed with surgery. If you don’t have the required letters, our patient advisor can aid you with this.
Surgeon Consultations
You will have two consultations with your surgeon. The first will be a virtual and informal meeting, while the second will be a more detailed, in-person session. A physical examination will be conducted to determine the most suitable surgery for your specific needs.
Pre Op Nurse Appointment
During your pre-op appointment, you can anticipate a health assessment that covers your medical history, height and weight measurements, verification of surgical garments, and scheduling of your post-operative appointments.
Surgery Day
Your surgery will take place at our privately owned hospital in Newton-le-Willows. Our commitment to quality patient care and safety is embedded in our values at Pall Mall and we continuously ensure our patients are at the forefront of everything we do.
Follow up Appointments
After surgery, expect continued support from our team, including: a wellness call post-surgery to check progress, a one-week post-op appointment, a follow-up with the surgeon at six to eight weeks and a six-month review after your procedure.

We are privileged to be working with leading expert surgeons with over 20 years experience in Gender affirming surgery.
Kate Williams is a highly accomplished consultant surgeon specialising in gender-affirming and oncoplastic surgery. She graduated with a BSc (First Class Hons) in Clinical Science from the University of Leeds in 2000, followed by an MBChB in 2003. In 2010, she became a Research Fellow with the Royal College of Surgeons, England, and earned her MD from the University of Manchester in 2014. Since 2016, she has been a leading NHS consultant in Manchester, performing over 250 surgeries, and has been the Clinical Director for breast and chest wall surgical services at NMGH since 2021.
Chloe Wright, Gender and Oncoplastic Surgeon
Chloe Wright
Chloe Wright is a Consultant Gender and Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon with extensive experience in both gender-affirming and breast cancer surgeries. She earned her MBChB from the University of Manchester in 2003 and achieved USA Medical Certification in 2010. After finishing a National TIG Oncoplastic Fellowship in 2016-17, she served as a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon at Bolton NHS FT from 2018 to 2021. Since March 2021, Chloe has been a Consultant at Manchester Foundation Trust. She has been a specialist advisor to the CQC since 2018 and has trained in gender-affirming top surgery since 2009. With a research interest in Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) and gender-affirming surgery, she has performed over 250 procedures.
