What is a MRI?

An MRI scan uses strong magnetic fields and radio waves to produce detailed images of the inside of the body. It can help to diagnose medical conditions with greater accuracy, leading to more successful treatment of patients suffering from a wide range of conditions that affect the brain and nervous system. MRI scans are also used for the diagnosis of heart conditions, cancer, liver and kidney problems and issues affecting bones and joints. We understand that MRI scans can be daunting, especially if it's your first time. Our dedicated team of specialists are on hand to make the experience as smooth as possible and are always happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

There’s nothing more important than your health, and we recognise that symptoms relating to heart conditions can be particularly frightening.

That’s why this month we’re offering patients 35% off an ECG. An ECG is used to record the heart’s rhythm and electrical activity. The purpose of an ECG is to find out if the heart is healthy by detecting irregular heart rhythms and to help diagnose the cause of symptoms such as chest pain or palpitations.

Early detection can be the difference between successful treatment and a complex health issue. In extreme circumstances, a heart condition can be a matter of life and death. Thankfully, your body has ways to warn you if something’s not right.
